Practice and Policy Updates

The purpose of Practice and Policy Updates is to ensure that all Nurses Care Hub events and activities connect health policy to practice and help identify and implement educational opportunities for all Nurses Care Hub members, including all communications platforms.

Nurses Care Hub strives to ensure practice and policy updates and events will bring you the most important information, packaged in a way that is easy to understand and read quickly and easily.

One of the key objectives of our strategic plan is to make more Nurses Care Hub content available digitally. To accomplish this, webinars, such as our RAW Roundtable, will be offered quarterly on information and issues important to our Nurses Care Hub members.

Our focus:

Education
Nurses Care Hub will include information about community meetings for nurses, local chapters and associations, upcoming conferences, plus our own webinars, events, and master classes.

Health Policy
Accessible information on issues related to access to health care reform, local, state, and national health care reform and public health and the politics and economics of health system impacting nursing practice.

Community service and volunteer
Nurses Care Hub’s Mentor Match Up connects our board, committee members, nurse leaders and academia with nursing students as an opportunity to get involved and give back to the community.
